Community Partnerships

Oppe has initiated and developed thematic sponsor relationships with businesses, non-profits, universities, city government, and our community. They provide support for our Coastal Studies theme-related events, support our classroom teachers, link curriculum to theme, and overall give our students a strong sense of coastal stewardship. We visit and revise the support for our staff and student needs each year in our magnet sustainability plan, based on changes to our themed curriculum and new initiatives we implement. Partnerships with business, community, and universities are a part of our Magnet Sustainability Plan and are revised annually. In addition to supporting our campus directly, our partners write us into their grants to support our coastal studies into the future.
